Calamity struck at #11, Aderibigbe Street, Maryland, Lagos, Nigeria as a six story building collapsed on October 26 2011.
The collapsed building was harbouring about 8 company offices when it collapsed.
SUPRISINGLY, the people resident in the premises had evacuated the building about two hours before it collapsed. They say they heard noises as the building shook from its foundations and they all evacuated. No caasualties were recorded.
